The Special Events Department at Kalos Music & Art School is pleased to invite you to the opening of the art exhibit by artist Peter Hosfeld, hosted by the distinguished Mr. Armando Droulers next Saturday, March 11th at 7:30 pm.

Peter Hosfeld is a Norwegian-born artist with strong ties to Spain and Venezuela, countries where he’s found an unending source of inspiration and opportunities for nurturing and artistic exchange.

Hosfeld, who studied at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), develops pieces that portray entropy as an aesthetic state in constant transformation. Hosfeld’s work creates a vocabulary that seeks dynamism in abstract painting through expressionist brushstrokes, along with pop elements, inviting the viewer to contemplate the universal forces of change that act on every living being.

Special Guest: Armando Droulers.

Armando Droulers is an art historian, lecturer and educator. He studied at Bard College, Academia de Arte Federico Brandt, New World School of the Arts and the University of Florida. He lectures on art and culture on cruise ships and at cultural centers, galleries, museums, schools, universities and corporate events. He leads international cultural tours and has lived in North and South America, Europe and the Middle East.

The event will run from March 11th to April 1st when Eugenia Mendez will close the exhibit with a very special concert.
