Saúl Vera and Jorge Glem – “String Ritual”

Saúl is an accomplished composer, arranger and master Bandola & Mandolin player. His talent has led him to perform all over the world. Currently, Saúl is vested in bringing up the next generation of musicians and artists in his latest venture, Kalos Music & Art School.

Jorge is an award-winning Venezuelan cuatro player, mandolinist and musical producer who is considered one of the country’s musical treasures. Born in Cumaná, and now presently residing in New York City, Jorge has set out to present the Venezuelan cuatro as a universal instrument.

Jorge’s amazing talent has allowed him to share the stage with renowned musical figures such as Paquito D’Rivera, Jordan Rudess, Rubén Blades, Carlos Vives, Calle 13, Natalia Lafoucarde, Guaco, Desorden Público, Ensamble Gurrufío, Gualberto Ibarreto, Etienne Charles and many other important music personalities. Jorge has succesfully fused the cuatro with genres such as jazz, salsa, bluegrass, rock, and pop.

About the Concert Series: Every second Saturday beginning on September 9, 2023 through June 8, 2024, we will host a unique and amazing concert for the Aventura, FL comunity.

The artists are amazing professionals mostly from the South Florida area. Concerts are held in the beautiful, intimate recital hall located at Kalos Music & Art School.
