Nestor Torres

Born in Puerto Rico, Nestor Torres pursued flute studies at Mannes School of Music in NYC and later at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston.

His career includes collaborations with Herbie Hancock, Tito Puente, Ricky Martin, Kenny Loggins, Dave Mathews and Gloria Estefan, as well as performances with The New World, Cleveland and Singapore Symphony Orchestras.

Equally fluent in Jazz, Classical, and Latin Music, Nestor Torres’ melodic and rhythmical flute sound sets him apart as one of the most influential flutists of his generation.
