Kalos Music, continuing its cycle of premier art exhibitions and concerts presents “The Ink Mirror”, a showcase of Venezuelan artist, Carlos Solorzanos’, latest work.
Solórzano is an artist and designer born in Barquisimeto, in the Central-Western region of Venezuela; He has lived in Hollywood, Florida for more than a decade.
The artist has an interesting background which began with Graphic Design studies at the prestigious Newman Academy in Caracas, transitioned to a Sociology Major at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, and later returned to Graphic Design at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Solórzano, has consolidated a career with several individual and collective exhibitions in renowned galleries such as “Los Espacios Calidos” and “Minotauro” in Caracas and the Midtown Art Gallery in Fort Lauderdale.
His fructiferous career has allowed Solórzano to become a renowned artist and achieve critical acclaim. Notably, In 2011, Solórzano was awarded the first prize in the Driven, Music + Art Conference at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Hollywood, Florida
Kalos’s art teacher, Cristina Keller, states about the exhibition: “Carlos Solórzano’s showcase, The Ink Mirror, originates in the vision of similar universes, habitated by beings who show their faceted faces in constant transformation. Each individual contains many beings within.’
Keller continues: “It is a potent body of work which allows us to observe an enigmatic society of ambiguous worlds, populated by hybrids, wise men, warriors, wizards and magicians who populate intricate geographies of bronze labyrinths, constructed in the likeness of an ideal time”.
Kalos Music & Art School, continuing its mission of cultural expansion with concerts, conferences, art exhibitions and workshops, presents “The Ink Mirror” with the objective of generating a continuous cultural Exchange with the surrounding community of Aventura, Florida and strengthening the school’s outreach programs, as well as offering a wonderful art-rich ambiance for students and all of those who wish to join us.
Following this initiative, for the opening of this exhibition, we will present Tinta Sonora (Audible Ink), a teacher’s concert which highlights the amazing group of talented staff members we have at Kalos.

Kalos Music continuando su ciclo de Exposiciones de artes plásticas y conciertos presenta “El Espejo de Tinta” una muestra con las más recientes obras del artista plástico venezolano Carlos Solórzano.
Solórzano es artista plástico y diseñador nacido en Barquisimeto, Centro occidente de Venezuela y radicado hace más de una década en Hollywood Florida.
De una interesante formación que lo lleva del diseño gráfico en la prestigiosa academia Newman de Caracas, a la sociología en Universidad Central de Venezuela y luego de regreso al Diseño Gráfico en Art Institute of Pittsburg, Solórzano ha consolidado una apreciada carrera como creador con exhibiciones individuales y colectivas en importantes salas como Los Espacios Cálidos y Minotauro en Caracas hasta Midtown Art Gallery, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Su fructífera carrera le permitió alcanzar en 2011 el primer premio en el “Driven, Music + Art Conference” Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Hollywood, Florida
La Artista y profesora de arte de Kalos, Cristina Keller, afirma en el texto de esta exposición: “La muestra de Carlos Solórzano, El Espejo de Tinta, se origina en la visión de universos semejantes habitados por seres que muestran sus rostros facetados en constante transformación. Cada individuo contiene a muchos en sí mismo.”
Continúa Keller: “Es una potente obra que nos permite observar una sociedad enigmática de mundos ambiguos, poblada de híbridos, sabios, guerreros, hechiceros y magos que pueblan geografías intrincadas de laberintos de bronce, construidos a semejanza de un tiempo ideal.”
Kalos Music & Art School continuando su actividad de difusión cultural con conciertos, conferencias, exhibiciones de arte y talleres, presenta esta exposición El Espejo de Tinta
con el objetivo de generar continuo intercambio cultural con la comunidad de Aventura, Florida, fortaleciendo las actividades de extensión y brindando y rico ambiente artístico a estudiantes y allegados.
Siguiendo está linea, para la apertura de esta exhibición se presentará Tinta Sonora, el concierto de profesores de nuestra institución en el que resaltará el talento de:

Kalos Music & Art School fundada en 2012 sigue marcando la pauta en la enseñanza de la música y el arte en el Sur de la Florida y se extiende a la difusión pública del depurado arte de artístas plásticos, músicos, intérpretes y compositores de la música popular y académica acompañado de actividades de extensión para el disfrute y el aprendizaje de la comunidad estudiantil, allegados y público en general.
