Monique Galvao
Voice

Monique Galvao was born and raised in Brazil. She lived in France where she was first introduced to choir and classical guitar. In Miami, she was introduced to classical singing earning “Excellent” at the Florida Federation of Music Clubs and winning her category at the NATS South Florida chapter. Her past credits include Katisha in the “Mikado”, Aunt March, Mrs Kirk in “Little Women,” Queen Aggravain in “Once Upon a Mattress” and Adalgisa, Carmen, Orfeo, Cherubino and 2nd Lady in scenes from “Norma,” “Carmen,” “Orfeo ed Euridice,” “Le Nozze di Figaro” and “Die Zauberflötte.”
Monique was last seen on stage with the FIU Opera Theater as Lazuli from the opera bouffa “L’Etoile” by the composer Chabrier and as a shepherd in “Venus and Adonis”by John Blow.
