Para dar inicio a la Agenda Cultural Kalos 2015 – 2016 extendemos nuestra invitación al primer Evento Especial de Kalos Music & Art School.
En esta oportunidad el artísta venezolano Enrique Hidalgo ofrece un recorrido por cada dimensión de su carrera artística integral la cual ha consolidado durante 50 años como músico, compositor, letrista, poeta, autor de textos infantiles y artista plástico.

Con un amplio repertorio de canciones populares interpretadas por grandes músico venezolanos como Ilán Chester y Oscar de León, el compositor­ ha establecido su carrera participando en importantes festivales musicales internacionales. A su vez, se involucra durante doce años en el área de educación artística y literatura en Venezuela y desarrolla una obra de gran valor y calidad en poesía infantil y lírica popular. En su faceta de artista plástico cuenta con una importante trayectoria participando en exhibiciones en Venezuela y el Caribe, y forma parte de colecciones privadas en Canadá, Colombia y Perú entre otros.

Acompáñanos en un especial concierto inaugural lleno de sorpresas para toda la familia el próximo sábado 29 de agosto de 2015 a las 5pm en la Sala de Kalos Music & Art School. Una exhibición en la cual el Maestro Hidalgo expone en simultáneo tres facetas distintas de su experiencia imaginativa.

Kalos Music & Art School fundada en 2012 sigue marcando la pauta en la enseñanza de la música y el arte en el Sur de la Florida y se extiende a la difusión pública del depurado arte de artistas plásticos, músicos, intérpretes y compositores de la música popular y académica acompañado de actividades de extensión para el disfrute y el aprendizaje de la comunidad estudiantil, allegados y público en general.

Kalos Music & Art School continuing with its calendar of music and art events for 2015 – 2016 presents an unparalleled event in Miami, “Enrique Hidalgo in 3D”. Music – Poetry – Painting.
Venezuelan musician, composer, poet and artist, Enrique Hidalgo, will present works from his integral artistic career which has lasted more than 50 years.
With an extensive repertoire of popular songs interpreted by voices such as Ilan Chester and Oscar de Leon among other notable performers, Enrique Hidalgo has become one of the composers with more recordings in Venezuela and Latin America. His albums have established sales records and chart records and have appeared in numerous TV programs and international music festivals. Apart from his musical career, Hidalgo has consolidated a great career in art and poetry.

Involved from the beginning of his career with education, Enrique Hidalgo, dedicated many years specializing in artistic education and Venezuelan literature. As a poet, Enrique Hidalgo, has developed a body of work of great value and artistic quality in children’s poetry and popular lyrics which have earned it a place as a creator of the collective memory of the Venezuelan people. His phase as an artist presents an important career with many exhibitions in Venezuela, the Caribbean and integrating private collections in Latin America and the United States.
In this event “Enrique Hidalgo in 3D”, the Venezuelan artist will present, at the same time, the three phases of his imaginary experience.

The artist will show himself in is facet as a child poet, presenting along with art professor Cristina Keller a series of illustrated poems by the advanced students of the Kalos Music & Art School, art program.

Join us in this special event which will host the artist’s paintings, an inaugural concert for the whole family with Maestro Hidalgo alongside Michel Gonzalez, Jannio Hidalgo, Eugenia Mendez and Saul Vera. The curation and selection of the artist’s work will be made by Javier Hidalgo. The production and design of the event will be in charge of Claudia Perez Sanabria.
Kalos Music & Art School was founded in 2012 and is managed by the owners, musicians Eugenia Mendez and Saul Vera. The school is a groundbreaking alternative in South Florida and proudly presents artists, musicians, composers of popular and academic music. The school also features great activities for the enjoyment and learning of our student body, friends and family as well as the general public.
